ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF HULL
The University of Hull is the 14th oldest University in England and was founded over 90 years ago in 1927 by the Duke of York. Today it houses more than 16,000 students, over 1,000 academic staff and 2,500 employees. Their motto is Lampada Ferens, which means ‘carrying the light of learning’, and it stands for their strong heritage of academic excellence and dedication to life-changing research.
The University of Hull is known for its research expertise in Healthcare, nanotechnology, environmental technology and much more. For its work in liquid crystal technology, the university was awarded the Queen’s award.
